Smorgasbord 005.

1. I really need a haircut or at least a trim. The motorcycle thing [going at ungodly speeds=whipping hair] has my hair splitting six months too early. Yes, I used to only get my hair cut once a year.

2. I’m hypersensitive to light, sound, and especially scent. I can smell slight scents across the room. Touch is normal, unless temperature is involved, in which case, I’m omgsuperhypersensitive.

3. Again, benefits to dating a doctor:
m: [insert conversation regarding female issues inappropriate for men] Sorry, gross?
b: Baby, I’ve been sprayed with amniotic fluid and afterbirth. Sprayed. Don’t even talk about gross.

4. Every three months or so, I hit a cooking funk. I’m burned out, my head hurts, I don’t want to walk to the market, I don’t want to wash dishes, wah. [Yes, I wash by hand since the dishwasher is incompetent. As is Brian. I'm finicky about cleanliness.] So, Brian eats out, I eat low-maintenance salads until after a week or so, I force myself to cook and then I rediscover the love like yesterday. My head still hurts, but I’m distracted. The kitchen is love. Comfort.
